Zoom Presentation – Sunday, 3 August 2025, at 3:00pm
I am thrilled to announce that Richard Pickering, Deputy Executive Director and Chief Historian at the Plymouth Patuxet Museum in Plymouth, Massachusetts, has agreed to conduct a Zoom presentation to our Society titled “To Walk in all His Ways: John Robinson's Ministry and the Mayflower Compact."
In his presentation, Mr. Pickering will explore church covenants, congregational administration, and their influence on the Mayflower Compact and Plymouth Colony's groundbreaking experiment in self-government. His talk will be followed by the chance to ask questions on legal, economic, and church history in the colony.
Special thanks to Secretary Pam Pettengell, who was instrumental in inviting Mr. Pickering to make this presentation.
Please register on the Members section of the website under Events. There are limited spaces so be sure to register so you do not miss this opportunity. The Zoom link will be sent to all those who have registered the week before the presentation.
