Zoom Presentation – Sunday, 22 February 2026 at 1:00 pm

The Virginia Mayflower Society invites you to a remarkable virtual program exploring the extraordinary life of Pilgrim Elizabeth Tilley, one of the most influential yet often overlooked women of the Mayflower story.

We are honored to welcome Sally Hobert Whiting, author of Filled With Fortitude: Pilgrim Elizabeth Tilley, for an engaging presentation that brings Elizabeth’s world to life—from her journey aboard the Mayflower to her enduring legacy through generations of descendants.

This special event offers a rare opportunity to:

    • Discover new insights into Elizabeth Tilley’s resilience, faith, and fortitude

    • Learn about the research and inspiration behind Whiting’s acclaimed work

    • Connect with fellow Mayflower descendants, history enthusiasts, and the broader community

    • Participate in a live Q&A with the author

Whether you are a member of the Virginia Mayflower Society, a descendant of the Pilgrims, or simply someone who loves early American history, this program promises to be both enlightening and inspiring.

All are welcome — members, guests, and the interested public. Join us as we honor the legacy of a remarkable Pilgrim woman whose story continues to shape our shared heritage.

Please register on the Members section of the website under Events. There are limited spaces so be sure to register so you do not miss this opportunity.  The Zoom link will be sent to all those who have registered the week before the presentation.
